I had the pleasure to photograph an amazing event that took place at the Maplewood Country Club in Maplewood, New Jersey last week. Being a portrait photographer, I don't normally do events, but I knew that volunteering for such a great cause would be worth it! Here's a little about PLAY for P.I.N.K... (Prevention, Immediate Diagnosis, New technology, Knowledge). First of all, I LOVE that this is a grassroots organization dedicated to raising funds to fight breast cancer through lifestyle and sporting events. One of the best parts is that they contribute 100%, yes I said 100% of all proceeds to their sole beneficiary, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation which funds the world's top researchers.
